Where To Go

There's so much to see and do in Suffolk,
here are just a few ideas.

Music abounds in Suffolk with concerts at Snape Maltings and in many of the beautiful churches in the area.

In the summer months you can go to local Open Art Studios and view artists at work.

Coastal walks towards Dunwich and northwards beyond Southwold to Covehithe. The RSPB at Minsmere is a must for bird lovers.

The wonderful perennial's nursery, Woottens, is near at Wenhaston and well worth a visit.

Suffolk has a rich and varied collection of churches to visit including Blythburgh's - "Cathedral of the Marshes", Framlingham, Southwold and Huntingfield etc.

Southwold is perfect for ambling around, walking on the pier, the beaches and along the harbour where children love crabbing in the summer.

There are antique shops and second hand bookshops galore.

Adnams Wine and Beer Shop in Southwold is always worth a visit!

From July to September, Jill Freud's legendary Summer Theatre puts on a wonderfully eclectic mix of plays both in Southwold and Aldeburgh. Need to book in advance.

There are golf clubs at Halesworth, Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Southwold and Bungay.

Sarah has created a list of local restaurants and pubs to visit and is happy to help you choose and make a booking for you.
